1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Rozi Bano Tech Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”), a proprietorship registered in India under Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-MH-33-0783635, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use:

• our website rozibanotechlabs.online (the “Website”); and
• any mobile application published by us on the Google Play Store under the developer name “Rozi Bano Tech Labs” (each an “App”);

together referred to as the “Services”. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

An individual App may display an additional, app-specific privacy notice. Where it does, that notice applies together with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide to us

• Contact details such as your name, email address and phone number when you contact us, request a quote or ask for support.
• Account information such as name, email address or profile details, if an App offers sign-in.
• Content you submit such as messages, feedback or files you choose to share with us.

b) Information collected automatically

• Device information such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version.
• Usage information such as screens viewed, features used, and time spent, collected in aggregated form to improve the Services.
• Diagnostics such as crash logs and performance data.
• Identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID or app instance ID, where an App uses advertising or analytics services.
• Log data on the Website such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and date/time of visit.

c) Information we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as passwords of other services, bank account or card details, biometric data, health information or government ID numbers through our Apps. Any in-app payments are processed by Google Play and we do not receive your full payment card details.

3. App Permissions

Our Apps request only the Android permissions needed for their features. Depending on the App, these may include:

Sensitive permissions are requested at the time they are needed, and you can deny or revoke them at any time from your device Settings > Apps. Some features may not work without the related permission.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, operate and maintain the Services;
• respond to your enquiries, support requests and feedback;
• understand how the Services are used and improve features and performance;
• detect, prevent and fix crashes, bugs, fraud and security issues;
• show advertisements in Apps that are ad-supported;
• send service-related notices, such as updates to these policies; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Apps and Website may use trusted third-party services that collect information in line with their own privacy policies. Depending on the App, these may include:

Where an App shows ads, Google and its partners may use the Advertising ID to show personalised or non-personalised ads. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads from your device Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

6. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following cases:

• Service providers: with the third-party services listed above that help us run the Services, under their privacy terms.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or a government authority in India, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
• Business transfer: if our business is merged, acquired or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction with notice to you.
• With your consent: in any other case where you have given permission.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable security practices and procedures, as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules, to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) wherever possible. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

• Support and enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted unless needed for an ongoing matter.
• Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
• Analytics and crash data are retained by the relevant providers for their standard retention periods (typically up to 14 months) in aggregated or pseudonymous form.
• Some information may be kept longer where required by law, for tax/accounting records, or to resolve disputes.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction or updating of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your personal data and account;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal);
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
• raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users under 18 should use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Cookies

Our Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Our hosting provider and third-party services (such as Google Fonts, Google Maps and Unsplash images) may process technical data like your IP address to deliver content. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes may also be notified within the App. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are given below. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.
